Christy Faison is a casting director and acting coach with two decades of experience across network, cable, and streaming television. She began her career in the Talent and Casting department at FOX and went on to work alongside respected casting directors including Jeanie Bacharach, Gillian O'Neill, and Lauren Grey. In 2011, she partnered with casting director Risa Bramon Garcia to cast pilots and series for networks including CBS, NBC, and Showtime. Her credits include The Newsroom, SEAL Team, Ash vs. Evil Dead, and Stargate Origins, plus more than a dozen independent features.

Callbacks are increasingly happening virtually, and the actors who can excel in this environment stand out and book the roles. Crush the Callback is a three-hour, high-level workshop limited to 14 actors (ages 16 and up). It’s designed to teach you how to showcase your very best self in a Zoom-style callback and handle the nuances of online auditioning like a pro.

Just like a real callback session, the guest will pair actors randomly for chemistry reads. This challenges your adaptability, collaborative instincts, and ability to live truthfully in the moment with another actor virtually — the exact skills casting directors look for.

The class concludes with a focused Q&A where you can ask both craft and business questions, gaining insider tips to sharpen your callback strategy and book more work.
