GET SCENE ONLINE
At Get Scene we run our classes in a way to encourage actors to work at an extremely high quality and professional level to help them actually Get Scene in the film/TV industry and find success in this challenging business. Now - that starts with following directions, and reading emails thoroughly, and working at a high level on all the technical aspects. Most of our classes will require homework prior, and if the directions are not followed then your self-tape will not be watched. Unfortunately, that will be the lesson, among watching your classmates. We cannot stress the importance of following directions and we are doing our best to help agents and casting… and you.

Agent Showcase: Direct Access to Representation
Five Industry Guests. One Self Tape. Five Sets of Notes.
Most actors spend months, sometimes years, sending submissions into a void and hoping the right representative opens the file. This showcase puts you in front of five agents and managers in a single session, with a prepared self tape, professional written feedback from each guest, and a live Q&A with the people who decide.
There is no other workshop, class, or audition that gives you this much representation at once.
Self-Paced Virtual Training Included
Before the showcase you get full access to our go-at-your-own-pace training. You'll cover the technical side of self-taping (setup, framing, lighting, sound, editing) and the business side of getting an agent (who to target, how to approach, what reps actually open). You walk into the showcase knowing exactly what's expected and how to deliver it.
Original Side Provided
You won't be scrambling to find material. We’ll provide a side if needed or choose a past self tape to showcase your best work!
Live Showcase in Front of Five Agents and Managers
Your self tape will be shown live for five industry guests in real time. They watch, take notes, and prepare written feedback specific to your work.
Written PDF Feedback from Every Guest
You won't walk away wondering what they thought. Each of the five guests delivers a written PDF evaluation of your tape and slate. That's five professional perspectives on the same material, side by side, so you can spot the patterns and act on them immediately.
Open Q&A with All Five Guests
The session closes with a live Q&A. Ask the questions actors rarely get to ask: what gets a tape watched all the way through, what gets an actor passed in five seconds, what they wish actors knew before reaching out, how to follow up without burning a bridge.
We'll Work On:
A self tape that earns a full watch
A submission strategy built for how reps actually find clients
A plan for what to do with the feedback after the session ends
Details:
Live and fully virtual, accessible from anywhere
Capped at 20 actors to keep the feedback meaningful
Three hours maximum
Five industry guests: a mix of agents and managers
Self-paced training delivered before the session

Written PDF feedback from each guest delivered after
Ages 16 and up
Why It's Different:
This isn't a class about getting representation. It's a showcase in front of the people who give it. You leave with a sharper tape, five sets of professional notes, a working strategy for the business side of acting, and your name in front of five offices that book real work.
☞ You will receive your sides, taping instructions, and self-paced training access 5 days PRIOR to the showcase. If you do not receive it, please check your spam and/or email info@getscenestudios.com. You will not receive an extension or refund for missing the homework.

The Bad Actor
Have you gone to set completely prepared, memorized, script analyzed and ready to show how hard you worked on your character ONLY to have it debunked by a bad scene partner? Were they not memorized? Going off script? Skipping lines? Overacting? Not "matching" your energy? Hate to break it to you, but YOU’RE THE BAD ACTOR. It’s time to stop playing the blame game and instead learn how to navigate these challenges and WANT to make your partner look like Daniel Day Lewis!
We’ll Work On:
• Personalized Scene Assignments:
You’ll receive sides selected specifically foryourexperience level and resume, giving you a tailored challenge to self-tape and submit before class.
• Tape Review + Live Adjustments:
In the first half of class, we’ll break down your self-tape, discuss your choices, and then run the scene live as I throw intentional “wrenches” your way—mirroring the curveballs casting and directors send in real sessions.
• Cold Reads Under Pressure:
In the second half, we’ll dive into cold reads using intentionally messy or poorly written scripts. Each pair will be given unexpected obstacles designed to throw you off your game… and train you to stay grounded, connected, and adaptable no matter what’s happening around you.
