Marlo Tiede is an independent Casting Director casting (currently paused due to the WGA strike) locally on the UCP/Peacock show HYSTERIA!. Having moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta in September of 2020, Marlo worked with Stilwell Casting before hanging her own shingle in The Big A. In Los Angeles, Marlo worked as a television executive and held the title of Manager of Casting and Talent for WALT DISNEY TELEVISION at FREEFORM STUDIO & NETWORK, where she oversaw and managed the creative casting decisions for GROWN-ISH, GOOD TROUBLE, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: THE PERFECTIONISTS and many more. Prior to executive casting, she worked as an independent Casting Director for 12 years on network television shows that include CASTLE (ABC), GRIMM (NBC), ZOO (CBS), KINDERFANGER (Facebook Watch), NECESSARY ROUGHNESS (USA), 90210 (CW) and GHOST WHISPERER (CBS) among others, as well as numerous network pilots, made for tv movies and feature films. She has a bachelor's degree in theatre arts performance from Long Beach State University. Marlo is a proud member of The Casting Society of America, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and WIFTA.

Callbacks are increasingly happening virtually, and the actors who can excel in this environment stand out and book the roles. Crush the Callback is a three-hour, high-level workshop limited to 14 actors (ages 16 and up). It’s designed to teach you how to showcase your very best self in a Zoom-style callback and handle the nuances of online auditioning like a pro.

Chemistry Reads Under Pressure
Just like a real callback session, the guest will pair actors randomly for chemistry reads. This challenges your adaptability, collaborative instincts, and ability to live truthfully in the moment with another actor virtually — the exact skills casting directors look for.

Q&A and Insider Insight
The class concludes with a focused Q&A where you can ask both craft and business questions, gaining insider tips to sharpen your callback strategy and book more work.
