These are feature-length films designed for the vertical screen, broken into 1–2 minute episodes, and they’re shaking up the industry. The tone, pacing, and performance style are different from traditional film and TV—and the demand for actors who can adapt is exploding.
Cheryl Louden-Kubin, is currently casting 2–3 vertical movies every month. This class will guide you through the nuances of this new medium and show you exactly how to stand out.
In this class, you’ll explore:
How acting for micro-dramas is different – tone, timing, and presence in the vertical frame.
Headshots & audition materials – what stands out for vertical productions.
Immersive audition experience – actors will complete a self-tape homework assignment and then step into a live Zoom callback to simulate the real audition process.
